Privacy

Crewmanual records your office software, which means it sees your customers’ names, addresses, phone numbers and prices. We built it so that information stays with you.

What never leaves your computer

• Your screenshots. Every image Crewmanual captures is stored by the extension on the computer that recorded it. We do not upload them, we do not have a copy, and we could not produce one if you asked.
• Your recordings and guides. Same. They live in your browser’s storage until you export or share them yourself.

What leaves, and only when you press a button

The features that use AI — the answer box and anything that rewrites text for you — send the text of the relevant guides to our AI provider so it can answer. Never the screenshots. This only happens when you ask a question or press one of those buttons; it does not happen in the background.

That text is used to produce your answer and is not used to train anyone’s model. If your guides contain customer information you would rather not send, remove it from the guide before you use those features.

What we store about you

• If you buy: your email address and your licence key. Payment is handled by Polar, our payment processor and merchant of record. Your card details go to them, not to us — we never see or store a card number.
• If you email us: your email and whatever you wrote.
• Usage measurements: counts of things like “a guide was recorded” or “an export was run”, plus ordinary website analytics on crewmanual.com. These are counts and events, not the contents of your work. We also collect crash and error reports so we can fix what breaks.

Who else is involved

We use a small number of services to run this: Polar for payments, Vercel for hosting, Anthropic for the AI features, and analytics and error-reporting providers. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job. We do not sell your information to anyone, for any amount, ever.

Your rights

Email support@crewmanual.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deleting your purchase record also deletes your licence key, so say so plainly if that is what you want. Your guides and screenshots are on your own computer — deleting those is yours to do, and uninstalling the extension removes them.

Children

Crewmanual is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
